Welcome to the world and home of the waterloo piratz where your new website may be waiting to be born or your existing site revitalized. Please check out the websites page to see current projects and websites. To contact us please fill out our email submission form. While fairly new to the world of websites I previouly worked for well over 15 years in the computer industry. Have known, loved and used perl off and on for a long time, assimilated html over time, finding javascript to be pretty easy, and now using Dreamweaver and improving and relying upon css design. Previously did everything in simple text editors so that I would understand every line of code. Currently learning and using mySQL with perl for an upcoming project and finally got Flash but am still in the learning process.
Started as an IBM mainframe assembler programmer in Denver at a direct marketing business where programs often had to be perfect in 24 hours. While there proposed and developed several C programs. Next position was as a software test engineer on multiple unix and pc platforms at XVT in Boulder where eventually I became the software release coordinator, installshield developer, owner of our in home bug database written in perl as well as their best tester. Tested and developed portable GUI tests written in C using the XVT libraries. Last position was at Advanced Software of Denver testing the UML development tool, GDPro. Developed the automated testing suite during the rewrite and upgrade of GDPro to the current UML tool Describe after Embarcadero purchased Advanced Software.
